ETNOVIDEOGRÁFICA 2017 – INTERNATIONAL ETHNOVIDEOGRAPHYC FESTIVAL nace
como un Festival dedicado a las múltiples expresiones del documental etnográfico desde una óptica de compromiso ético y social con la gran diversidad de contextos culturales del mundo. El Festival pretende reflejar la pluralidad humana, cultural y social de nuestro planeta.
Entendemos el documental etnográfico en un sentido amplio e interdisciplinar, como toda aquella producción audiovisual cuyo propósito principal sea mostrar distintas realidades culturales, sociales, políticas, históricas, estéticas y económicas existentes en el mundo que compartimos.
El Festival se celebrará en el Museo Etnográfico de Castilla y León (MECYL), del 12 al 17 de diciembre de 2017 en su primera edición. Si bien, una selección oficial de los trabajos que concurran al Festival será proyectada en algún espacio cultural de cada una de las 9 provincias que forman la región de Castilla y León.
ETHNOVIDEOGRAPHIC 2017 – INTERNATIONAL ETHNOVIDEOGRAPHIC FESTIVAL is born as a festival dedicated to the multiple expressions of ethnographic documentary, from a wide range of ethical and social commitments with the great diversity of cultural backgrounds throughout the world. The Festival intends to reflect the human, cultural and social diversity of our planet.
We strongly conceive ethnographic documentary, under a wide and interdisciplinary sense, as every audiovisual production, which main purpose is to show different cultural, social, political, historical, aesthetic and economical realities existing in our world, which we all share.
The Festival will be held at THE ETHNOGRAPHIC MUSEUM OF CASTILLA Y LEON
(MECYL), from 12th to 17th December 2017 in its first edition. Furthermore, an official selection from the works submitted to the Festival, will be projected at any cultural space of each of the nine provinces which form the region of Castilla y León.
